From Dr. Michael Youssef's stirring call to revival, to Christ-centered worship with Chris Tomlin, the message was clear: It's time to stop hiding in the pews. Jesus is worthy of your obedience. He sent you out as sheep among wolves—and He will be with you as you boldly proclaim His name.
When Dr. Youssef extended the closing invitation, hundreds responded, committing to live more boldly for Christ, to step out of the pews, and carry the Gospel into their everyday lives.

It was meaningful being in such a large, friendly crowd focused on a positive objective and future. The music really filled my heart and I enjoyed seeing Dr. Youssef in person.

AWAKE Houston woke up my love for Christ, and I recommitted my life to Him. The most meaningful part was gathering to pray for the world and for America.

I was able to bring my elderly neighbor with me and she also enjoyed it very much. Chris Tomlin, thank you for your beautiful songs. The most meaningful part was worshiping with many people of different cultures and backgrounds. Everything was perfect

It was a truly blessing for my niece and me to be able to participate in an event where the name of Jesus was exalted over our city of Houston. I believe that our prayers can change everything through the mercy and grace of God. Thank you so much for having Houston in your hearts. May God continue to bless your ministry abundantly in Jesus' name, amen!

I’m even more on fire to share God’s love with everyone I meet. Even in the places I would not go, I know He will be with me. . . . I have a desire to 100% live for Him and not the world any longer. I’m being transformed into the woman he created me to be. I just want to serve God in every way He calls me to.
“I’ve been away from the Lord for 34 years and came back after that horrible event on the college platform. This was one of my first events after coming back to my faith. . . . I’m between jobs and will take God’s Word with me to the next. I pray for all those who walked up to the front tonight. I cried happy tears.”
“This was my very first revival and it was a spiritual experience for me. I felt something special as soon as I walked in. There was a positive energy in the air and I felt like I was a part of it. I was empowered to be more bold in my faith and I’m still feeling energized two days later. Thank you.”
"This event was powerful! The most meaningful part of it was experiencing the faith movement in Boston. This movement needs to continue to help the country. Christ needs to be the focus of everything."
"There was such a true move of God at the event. It shook me up and awakened what I had many years ago: my first love."

Bible believing church
Dr. Michael Youssef, Founder of Awake America, is a passionate preacher of the Gospel and a bold defender of Biblical Truth. Born in Egypt under oppressive regimes, he witnessed the cost of spiritual darkness and dedicated his life to calling the American Church to wake up, stand firm, and follow after God. After becoming a U.S. citizen, he planted The Church of The Apostles in Atlanta in 1987 and launched Leading The Way, now broadcasting the Gospel globally in 28 languages.
Heralded by TIME magazine as the “most often sung artist in the world,” Chris Tomlin’s music has inspired an entire generation of Christians. Along the way, he’s scored 30 top-ten hits and spent 157 weeks at number-one, with more than 12 million albums sold and 8 billion global streams. He’s won numerous awards, including a GRAMMY, three Billboard Music Awards, and 30 Dove Awards. With a heart for spiritual renewal and revival in the Church, Chris has helped lead global worship moments through songs like “How Great Is Our God,” “Holy Forever,” and “God of This City.”
A pastor, bestselling author, and faithful steward of the Church for more than half a century, Dr. O.S. Hawkins has shaped generations of believers across America. He served as senior pastor of the historic First Baptist Church of Dallas—succeeding the legendary Dr. W.A. Criswell—before leading GuideStone Financial Resources as President and CEO for 25 years until his retirement in 2022. He now serves as Chancellor at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. The author of more than 50 books including the bestselling Joshua Code and the entire Code Series, Hawkins donates all royalties to Mission:Dignity—the ministry he founded to support retired pastors and their widows in need.
Once a devout Muslim, Dr. Ahmed Joktan is now a bold evangelist for Christ. The son of a Mufti of Mecca, he memorized the entire Qur'an by age 13 and was on the path to becoming a jihadist. Then Jesus appeared to him in a dream, forever changing the trajectory of his life. In the years that followed, Ahmed was imprisoned, beaten, tortured, and shot for his faith in Christ. He is now the author of 15 books and founder of Mecca to Christ Ministries International. Ahmed's refusal to renounce his faith and his passion to reach the lost for Christ will inspire you.
